Lalu calls on Nitish at his official residence

Patna, Sep 28 (UNI) In a hectic political activity in Bihar, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his official residence, sparking speculations over hiccups in the newly floated opposition alliance INDIA, on seat sharing for 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Prasad went to residence of Chief Minister Kumar to meet him which was second meeting between them in last four days. Kumar had called on Prasad on Monday at 10 circular road, the official residence of his wife Rabri Devi. Kumar had also gone to 10 circular road before Monday to meet Prasad but the latter was not present as he had left for Rajgir alongwith his elder son and Forest Minister Tej Pratap Yadav.

A lot of speculations are running round in political circle over frequent meetings of Lalu and Nitish. It is being speculated that hiccups have erupted over seat sharing between RJD and JD(U) on seat sharing for 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, JD(U) president Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh tried to downplay the meeting between Nitish and Lalu. Both the leaders were strong pillars of newly floated opposition alliance INDIA and there was nothing surprising in their meeting, he remarked.
