KTR emphasises BRS as Telangana’s strong voice

Hyderabad, Jan 17 (UNI) Former Minister and BRS Working President, K T Rama Rao (KTR), outlined the reasons for supporting former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

KTR emphasised that the BRS party stands as the sole representative capable of articulating the strong voice of the people of Telangana in Parliament.

Illustrating this claim, KTR referred to the performance of BRS MPs in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha, recalling instances when the Centre championed the rights and initiatives of Telangana. KTR presented detailed statistics on the number of times BRS MPs raised questions in Parliament concerning the rights and benefits of Telangana. According to the data, BRS MPs questioned the Centre 4,754 times, whereas Congress did so 1,271 times and the BJP only 190 times during the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha sessions.

Taking to Twitter, KTR stated, “Why should Telangana vote for Team KCR in the 2024 Parliament elections? To make sure #TelanganaVoiceInParliament is heard loud and clear. A simple glance at the 16th and 17th Loksabha statistics will reveal how well the @BRSparty MPs did in terms of questioning and demanding the Union Government for the rights and interests of Telangana.”
