Akhilesh flags off PDA yatra from Lucknow

Lucknow, Jan 17 (UNI) Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday flagged off the Save Constitution-Save Country Samajwadi PDA (Picchda, Dalit and Alpsankhyak) Yatra from the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow.

On this occasion, Akhilesh said that the yatra which will cover several districts will connect people with the SP. “The PDA Yatra will connect with the backward, Dalit, minorities, oppressed people and strengthen the socialist movement,” he said.

He alleged that the BJP government was destroying the Constitution and democracy. “PDA Yatra and PDA Panchayat will work to save him. The message of protecting democracy will reach every village through PDA Yatra,” he said.

The SP chief said that the party was strengthening the INDIA bloc. “We will strengthen the INDIA bloc by strengthening the PDA. Our PDA will defeat BJP’s NDA in Lok Sabha elections. Inequality cannot end with BJP’s slogan of Sabka Saath. PDA is God for us. SP is fighting to provide respect and rights to backward classes, Dalits and minorities,” he said.

He said that SP is working to save socialist values. Samajwadi Party is a constitutional party. Therefore, the biggest responsibility of saving democracy and the constitution lies with the socialists, he said.

Akhilesh said that farmers and youth are all sad and upset with the BJP government. “The general public is suffering from inflation and unemployment. Due to the wrong policies of the BJP government more than one lakh farmers have committed suicide due to financial crisis and debt in the last 10 years,” he claimed.

Starting from SP’s state headquarters on January 17, 2024, ‘Save Constitution-Save Country, Samajwadi PDA Yatra’ will reach Hardoi on January 18, Shahjahanpur on January 19, Badaun on January 20, Sambhal on January 21 and Moradabad on January 22. .

The yatra will reach Bijnor on 23 January, via Haridwar on 24 January, Saharanpur on 25 January, Shamli on 26 January, Muzaffarnagar on 27 January, Meerut on 28 January and Ghaziabad on 29 January.
