Gwalior South has become a hot seat in the assembly elections to be held in Madhya Pradesh in November 2023 due to the claims of many veteran leaders.

On the one hand, due to the claims of senior former ministers like Anoop Mishra, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Samiksha Gupta, who was mayor of the city and Pranshu, son of MP Shejwalkar, it has become very difficult for BJP strategists to form a consensus on any one name on this seat. On the other hand, the sitting Congress MLA Praveen Pathak is also engaged in holding mail meetings with the big leaders of the party, proving his report card better and walking in the streets to get the ticket once again, while there is one candidate from Gwalior South seat. And the shocking name has emerged. This is the name of Kinnar Raj Nayak, who has been active in the political and social sector of Gwalior for the last many years.

Raj Nayak Kinnar, who belongs to the transgender class, despite interfering in the political field, still does the same traditional work, that is, she sings and prays for the common people on the occasion of happiness. Now she wants to serve the common people of Gwalior by following the difficult path of political struggle. The BJP State Working Committee meeting held in Gwalior in the presence of Amit Shah and before that the crowded meetings of Priyanka Gandhi, Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have raised the election fever. From big leaders to old workers of different parties, they are involved in manipulations at every level to get the ticket for legislature in their respective parties. Amidst these political stirrings, this time in Gwalior such a unique candidate who is a transgender can also come into the fray.

Raj Kinnar said that after taking the advice of all her colleagues and well-wishers, she has decided to strike a chord in the 2023 elections. Raj Kinnar will contest from South, the hottest seat of the city. She has also got involved in her public relations campaign. She is meeting people on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and keeping her point, people are also giving her their blessings, support and help.

Left the Congress last year after not getting the ticket – This is not the first election of Raj Kinnar of Gwalior. She has the experience of contesting elections. Last year, in the municipal elections, Raj challenged the BJP-Congress and filled the form of corporator. Raj contested from Ward 34 as an independent candidate after not getting a ticket from Congress party. She had staked claim on the Congress ticket, but the party did not even consider her name. The eunuch community campaigned for Raj by raising funds to contest the elections. Although she lost the election. Raj has been an office bearer of the Congress party. In the presence of the Kinnar community, senior leaders at the Congress Bhawan had also included her in the party and given her a post, but she left the Congress after not getting the corporator’s ticket.
