New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that his government aims to increase train services under its Teerth Yatra scheme to facilitate the pilgrimage of as many people as possible from Delhi to Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple.
“We will try to run more trains and send as many people as possible to Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple on January 22 as there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people,” Kejriwal told reporters during the ceremony organised for the departure of the 87th train from Delhi to pilgrimage site Dwarkadhish under Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana.
“I was asked to come alone to Ayodhya but I want to take my parents and family with me, so I will go after January 22, he said.
We send the elderly people of Delhi on pilgrimage, today the 87th train has departed. Around 82,000 elderly individuals have already visited Rameswaram, Dwarkadhish, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said.
