Event is organized by SBI Mandal Kalyan Samiti, Bhopal Circle
Inter Circle Hockey Tournament 2024 organized by State Bank of India Mandal Kalyan Samiti, Bhopal Circle, Bhopal from 14 January to 18 January 2024 at Sports Authority of India, Khel Maidan was launched today. In which the chief guest from Corporate Center Mumbai was Mr. Binod Kumar Mishra, Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India, and he formally inaugurated the program. The program was attended by special guest Bhopal Division Chief General Manager Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma along with special guest All India SBI Staff Federation President Com Arun Bhagoliwal and General Secretary Sanjeev Bandlish. During this, all the officials of the management including officers and employees were present.
During this, Mr. Binod Kumar Mishra, Deputy Managing Director and Mr. Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Chief General Manager, Bhopal SBI Circle welcomed all the guests in their address and encouraged the players coming from 13 circles by wishing them good luck for the tournament and said that the game should be played in the spirit of sportsmanship.
After that, the first match was played on Pitch 1 between Hyderabad and Kolkata teams. In which Hyderabad defeated Kolkata 7-2. The Man of the Match award was given to CR Bhim Singh of Hyderabad.
The second match was played between Lucknow and Bhubaneswar team. In which Bhuvneshwar defeated Lucknow 7-2. The Man of the Match award was given to Naiman Kerkatta of Bhubaneswar. The third match was played between Bhopal and Amravati team. In which Bhopal defeated Amravati 11-0. The Man of the Match award was given to Mohd Naeem of Bhopal and the first match was played between Patna and Mumbai teams on Pitch 2.
Patna defeated Mumbai 3-0. Man of the Match award was given to Prabodh Bora of Patna. The second match was played between Delhi and Chandigarh teams. In which Delhi defeated Chandigarh 4-1. Man of the Match award was given to Ravinder Singh of Delhi.
