12 crore devotees likely to visit Simhastha

Bhopal: In view of Simhastha 2028, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav asked the concerned officials of Indore, Ujjain and Dewas to prepare an action plan to purify the Kshipra river. He instructed them to build stop dams at various places to stop dirty water.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the high level meeting organized in connection with the development works of Simhastha 2028 and purification of Kshipra at Ujjain today. He instructed the Divisional Commissioners and Collectors of Indore and Ujjain divisions to prepare action plans.

The meeting was informed that 12 crore devotees are expected to visit Simhastha 2028. All basic needs will be arranged for them. The Chief Minister said that these 9 stop dams will be built wherever dirty drain water is flowing into Kshipra. Ghats of various temples, Valmiki Ghat, Siddhavat, Kaal Bhairav, Siddhanath etc. will also be expanded. The ghats where saints are staying will be expanded on priority, and necessary basic needs will be arranged.

Regarding effective action on crowd control, the Chief Minister said that apart from Mahakal Temple, plans will be made to manage the crowd at Ram Janardan Temple, Siddhanath, Kaal Bhairav where the satellite tower is also located.

Simhastha Kumbh Mela celebrations to be grand: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Shri Ram Temple located at Ankpat Marg in Ujjain and sought blessings from Gadipati Shri Tulsidas Maharaj. He hailed Shri Tulsidas Maharaj on becoming the Gadhipati. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while addressing the saints present on this occasion, said that Simhastha-2028 Kumbh Mela celebrations will be grand, divine and supernatural. The flag of Sanatan Dharma is flying high.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Samrat Vikramaditya of Ujjaini had got Shri Ram temple constructed in Ayodhya thousands of years ago. Now, with the firm resolve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Prana Pratishtha of Shri Ram is going to take place on 22nd January after the construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister said that a concrete action plan is being prepared to ensure that the Kshipra river is clean before the 2028 Kumbh Mela.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple and offered prayers.
