The month of April is very special. Gudi Padwa, Hindu New Year and Navratri is going to start on 9th April. Employees will get nine days leave by taking two days CL. There will be a lot of fasts and festivals this month. April will also be known for its important days. This means that for every section of people, April will be a month full of thrill and energy, not just ‘April Fool’.

April is, in a way, the month of fasting and festivals. The most important festival in this is Gudi Padwa.

Hindu New Year will begin on this day i.e. 9th April. Also Chaitra Navratri will start. Apart from this, Jhulelal Jayanti will be celebrated on 10th April and then Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on 11th April. Similarly, religious events will continue throughout April including Ram Navami on 17th April and Hanuman Jayanti on 23rd April.

April starts with April Fool’s Day – Talking about the important days of the month of April, some important days are coming for almost half the month. It starts from 1st April i.e. April Fool’s Day.

Apart from World Health Day, World Homeopathy Day and World Earth Day, many anniversaries will also be celebrated this month.
