Gufa Lok will be developed in Gufa Mandir area of Bhopal

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed the Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 566 crore of Municipal Corporation Bhopal and Bhopal Development Authority in the Gufa Mandir complex Lal Ghati. Under this Bhoomi Pujan was performed for construction of 43 MIGs, 61 LIG and 96 Multi Unit cells in Misrod-Barrai-Bagali Road, Raksha Vihar Phase-3, City Development Plan, Aerocity Phase-2 City Development Plan, Aerocity Phase-1 along with Manas Bhawan, which is being built at a cost of Rs 35 crore in the Gufa Mandir complex, construction of buildings of Government Higher Secondary School Barrai and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Government Higher Secondary School Karond under CM Rise School Project.

CM receives blessings from Mahant of Gufa Mandir

Chief Minister Chouhan said that not only Manas Bhawan will be constructed in the Gufa Mandir, along with it Gufa Lok will also be built. Chouhan has given instructions to the officials to make a plan for Gufa Lok. CM Chouhan said that in order to ease the parking system in old Bhopal, parking will be made at Sheesh Mahal located near Moti Masjid. This will provide convenience to the traders and buyers of the old Bhopal markets and will encourage business. CM Chouhan was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan programme organised at the Gufa Mandir. Chouhan greeted the saints and batuks present in the programme by showering flowers and expressed his gratitude to the Mahant of the Gufa Mandir, Rampravesh Shastri Ji Maharaj by gifting a shawl, shrifal and Tulsi plant and received blessings.

No shortage of money for development activities

Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is the responsibility of the state government to work for the conservation and promotion of religion and culture along with conducting welfare and development activities for the people of the state. To fulfill this duty, sacred works like development of Mahakaal Lok, Ramraja Lok, installation of Adi Guru Shankaracharya statue have been carried out by the state government. Indian culture is a culture of harmony among living beings and expansion of the idea of everyone being happy and healthy, our government is continuously making efforts in this direction. The Manas Bhawan to be built in the Gufa Mandir will contribute for the spread and promotion of religion and culture. Our government will not let there be any shortage of money for development activities.

Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Chairman of Bhopal Development Authority Krishnamohan Soni, Vice Chairman Sarvshri Sunil Pandey and Anil Agrawal Lily, former Mayor Alok Sharma and Sumit Pachauri were present in the programme along with other public representatives, saints, distinguished citizens.
