In states like Madhya Pradesh, where the Congress party is ready to contest alone, instructions have been given to make preparations at the grassroots level before selecting candidates. Many programs have been suggested to the district and block level organizations for election preparation so that the morale of the workers can be boosted and an aggressive fight can be carried out with the rival parties. Madhya Pradesh State President Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar have also been given big responsibility by the party high command. Both the young leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of identifying winning candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, directions have also been given to strengthen the party at the booth level. It has also been asked to make arrangements for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra of former party president Rahul Gandhi when he enters Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi’s journey will cover 698 km in Madhya Pradesh. This yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh from Uttar Pradesh and pass through nine districts in seven days.
