Criminal case registered against BRS Working President KTR

Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) A criminal case has been filed against BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) at Banjara Hills Police Station.

Congress leader Batthina Srinivas Rao lodged a complaint against KTR at the Hanumakonda police station. In his complaint, he alleged that KTR made false accusations against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and claimed that he had amassed Rs 2,500 crores from contractors and builders and sent the funds to Delhi. Rao contended that this act was intended to tarnish the reputation of the Chief Minister, sending misleading signals to the public. He urged for legal action to be taken against KTR.

However, the Hanumakonda police transferred the case to the Banjara Hills station. The Banjara Hills police have registered a case against KTR under sections 504 and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
