New Delhi, Feb 3 (UNI) The Rouse Avenue court here on Saturday allowed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh to take oath as the Rajya Sabha MP on February 5.

The court directed the jail authorities to take Singh to the parliament at 10 am on Monday.

The AAP MP on Friday sought permission from the court to participate in the Parliament’s budget session. The court today granted him approval to take the oath, the party sources said here.

During court arguments, the audio of the CCTV footage of the statement of the ED government witness was found missing. Irregularities were found in many footage-videos filed by ED in which absence of audio and manipulation were seen, sources said.

When the court attempted to review the CCTV footage and the video of the statement recorded in ED custody yesterday, the documents couldn’t be accessed, sources said. Yesterday, when the court tried to examine the CCTV footage and video of the statement recorded in ED custody, the documents could not be opened.
