Jharkhand: BJP govt at Centre spreading hatred in country: Rahul alleges

Dumka (Jharkhand), Feb 3 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday slammed the Narendra Modi-led government for waiving off the loans of big capitalists but shying away from waiving off farmers’ loans.

Mr. Gandhi was addressing a huge public gathering at Saraiyahat in Dumka district on the second day of his Jharkhand tour as part of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

“The BJP government at the Centre and RSS are spreading violence and hatred in the country, he alleged.

He said that when the Congress government comes to power at the Centre in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the Caste Census will be implemented in the entire country.

The Congress is constantly trying to establish love and harmony in the country through the earlier Bharat Jodo Yatra and the present Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and Manipur to Maharashtra, the Wayanad Lok Sabha MP said and asked the youth in the gathering whether they had got employment under the regime headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On this, the youth in the crowd, present in large numbers, raised their hands and replied, No.

The former AICC President alleged that Narendra Modi government has broken the back of small entrepreneurs by wrongly implementing demonetisation and GST. Due to this, the youth are not getting employment, he said.
