Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, while addressing the press conference organized at the BJP’s state media center on Saturday, said that whether it is the Ladli Lakshmi, Ladli Behna Yojana of the Bharatiya Janata Party Government of Madhya Pradesh or the Ujjwala Yojana of the Central Government, construction of toilets or the Prime Minister’s Matr Vandana Yojana, the government has fulfilled its resolve of women empowerment.
The United Nations has also assessed and praised our government’s toilet construction scheme and Jal Jeevan Mission. I can say with certainty that all the schemes of the double engine government of Bharatiya Janata Party have social impact.
All the schemes are for the welfare of the people, there are no freebees schemes. There is no section in the BJP government that has remained untouched by development, every scheme has an impact on the ground. BJP is ready to conduct impact assessment or third party assessment of these government schemes. The standard of living of the common people has improved due to the welfare schemes for the poor of the BJP government. Health has improved due to cleanliness and hygiene due to construction of toilets.
Effect of name Rahul on Ajay Singh
Countering Congress leader Ajay Singh Rahul’s allegations, Patel said that Ajay Singh Rahul had gone to Narsinghpur and said that Prahlad Patel was involved in the coal scam when he was the Coal Minister. No one took notice of this, but I saw that video and my younger brother has issued a notice to him. But, I want to tell you how far Congress remains beyond the facts. The name Rahul is associated with Ajay Singh, I think it is the effect of the name Rahul that he has gone to this extent.
Hat-trick by making three OBC Chief Ministers
Patel said that Congress, which has been harassing the OBC community, is today singing the praises of OBCs. BJP has been in government for less time than the number of years that Congress ruled the country, yet Congress could never do as much work as our party did for the OBC community. Congress has not given a single OBC Chief Minister to Madhya Pradesh, whereas Bharatiya Janata Party has scored a hat-trick by making Uma Bharti, late Babulal Gaur and Shivraj Singh Chauhan as Chief Ministers from the OBC category.
