Now Congress Leader of Opposition Govind Singh has made big allegations against Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains in this regard. He has demanded removal of Iqbal Singh Bains, calling him an agent of BJP.

This is the whole matter

A video surfaced from the strong room of Balaghat. In the video, the nodal officer is seen in a strong room tampering with the ballot paper. After this the Congress delegation complained to the Election Commission. Congress had alleged collusion between the Postal Ballot Paper Nodal Officer in Balaghat and local MLA Bisen in this matter.

Govind Singh made allegations

On the allegations of irregularities in ballot papers in Balaghat, Leader of Opposition Govind Singh said, “Not only in Balaghat, but in the entire Madhya Pradesh, on the instructions of CS Iqbal Singh Bains, district collectors and officials have made irregularities in the ballot papers. Bains should be immediately removed from the post of CS. I had said earlier also that if Bains is there then the election will not be fair. He has worked as an agent of BJP. If they remain in the counting of votes, they will definitely cause irregularities. Therefore, the EC is requested to remove them. This work has been done at the behest of the government.”

On the other hand, the Election Commission has suspended an election assistant nodal officer, Himmat Singh, in the whole matter.

Collector gave clarification

Giving clarification on this matter, the Collector said that the postal ballot papers were being sorted assembly wise as per the rules. During this time, some people protested due to misunderstanding, but as soon as the information became clear, they also came to know that the work was being done as per the instructions of the Election Commission.

Officers should not follow unconstitutional orders: Nath

Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath, in the context of alleged irregularities related to postal ballot in Balaghat of the state, today told the officers and employees that they are currently working under the Election Commission and the employees will not follow any unconstitutional or illegal order. Do it.

Mr Kamal Nath posted on Twitter, “Transparency and integrity are the basic principles of democracy. The way postal ballots were opened in Balaghat yesterday is a serious misconduct. After that, the way the government machinery and responsible officials tried to justify this act is an even more unforgivable crime.

He said that he wants to remind all the officers and employees involved in the election process that at present they are working under the Election Commission, which is an autonomous body separate from the Madhya Pradesh government. At present he is not working under any party or minister.

In this sequence, he requested all the officers and employees not to follow any unconstitutional or illegal order and do only that work which is their administrative responsibility.
