‘Chalo booth ki ore’ campaign for the fourth phase begins

Bhopal: “Chalo booth ki ore” campaign has started from Tuesday 7th May in all the polling stations of the Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies where voting will take place in the fourth phase. The “Chalo Booth Ki Ore” campaign will be monitored on a large scale. The activities taking place during this campaign will be spot monitored by senior officials of the Chief Electoral Officer’s office.

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has assigned individual responsibilities of different parliamentary constituencies to senior officials of the Nirvana Sadan for monitoring the “Chalo Booth Ki Ore” campaign.

These activities will take place

During the “Chalo booth ki Ore” campaign, reading of the voters list and distribution of voter slips will be done by BLOs. The voter slip will be verified by the sector officer. Main-to-main marking will be done to bring differently abled and elderly voters to the polling station if they are willing to vote at the polling station. For voter awareness, local sports competition, human chain, women’s rally, rangoli competition by self-help groups, reading of Shapath /Sankalp Patra to local citizens, Prabhat Pheri, henna competition, cuisine competition, street drama, cycle/ activities like motorcycle rally, painting competition will be organized.

Campaign will run at 18007 polling stations

In the fourth phase, voting is to be held in eight Lok Sabha constituencies of the state on Monday, May 13. This campaign has started from May 7 in 18 thousand 7 polling stations of these eight Lok Sabha constituencies. This includes Dewas (SC), Ujjain (SC), Mandsaur, Ratlam (ST), Dhar (ST), Indore, Khargone (ST) and Khandwa Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies.
