- CM Lays Foundation of Budhni Medical College, Bhairunda-Budhni-Rehti National Highway, Railway Bridge
Bhopal, Under the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, a Grand Tiranga Yatra was organized at Budhni in Sehore district recently.
As part of ongoing Vikas Parv Shri Chouhan laid foundation for a 500 bed Medical College costing Rs. 714.91 crores. He also laid foundation stone for the Budhni-Bherunda Raheti National Highway and the Railway Under-Bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 284.16 lakhs.
A large number of school students, local residents, and community representatives participated in Tiranga Yatra carrying the national flag. The citizens showered flower petals to welcome the Chief Minister.
Medical College and Nursing College
The Chief Minister said that the Medical College in Budhni would benefit entire Narmadapuram region. Additionally, a nursing college would also be established. He highlighted the importance of the Budhni-Raheti-Bherunda National Highway, connecting Bhopal to Narmadapuram, for regional development.
Students Share Thoughts
The Chief Minister had a meaningful interaction with the participating students. He advised them to dedicate themselves to studies and excel in education. He assured them to give scholarships for continuing higher education. He referred to the Chief Minister’s Udhyam Kranti Yojana for self-employment. He informed the students that there are ongoing government job recruitments. The medical and engineering education will now also be available in Hindi.
