Imphal, Jan 14 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Jatra, slated to cover about 6,200 Kms in 66 days, is all set to start from Manipur’s Khongjom on Sunday.

AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off the rally from Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal district .

The Thoubal district administration has ordered that the number of participants in the yatra be limited to 3000.

Kharge, Gandhi and Chief Ministers of some other states will land in Imphal airport during the day and proceed directly to the venue.

Before the start of the Yatra, the participants will pay tributes to the War Memorial at Khongjom. The war memorial is in memory of 1891 Anglo Manipur War heroes.

The rally will conclude at Imphal and proceed towards Kangpokpi and Senapati districts on Monday before moving to Nagaland.
