Academy players win 34 medals

Players of Madhya Pradesh State Sports Academy won a total of 34 medals including 14 gold, 12 silver and 08 bronze medals in the competition. Men and women of Madhya Pradesh Kayaking-Canoeing Academy won in the 34th National Junior Men’s and Women’s Championship held in Bhopal (MP). The players displayed their sporting talent brilliantly and won 24 medals including 13 gold, 08 silver and 03 bronze. 1000 m. (Women’s and Men’s category) – In the women’s category of 1000 meters 4 event, the team of Miss Rakshita, Doli, Niharika and Aastha won silver medal and in the men’s category, Rohan Yadav and Aditya Singh won 01 gold medal. Similarly, in the women’s category of 1000 meters C-4 event, the team of Miss Janaki, Divyanee Jat, Parvinder Kaur won 01 silver medal and in the boys category, Naresh, Prince Goswami, Arvind Verma and Hemant won 01 gold medal. Apart from this, in the women’s category of 1000 meters K-2 event, Miss Rakshita and Kumari Doli won 01 gold and in the men’s category of C-2 event, Prince Goswami, Sudhir Kumar won 01 silver and in the women’s category of the same event, Miss Masuma Yadav and Miss Parvinder Kaur won 01 gold medal. In the individual event of 1000 meter K-1, Manjeet Singh won 01 silver medal and in the women’s category, Rukmani won 01 bronze medal and in the C-1 women’s category, Masuma Yadav won 01 gold medal and in the men’s category, Naresh won 01 gold medal.

Won 16 medals in sub junior category

Players of the academy won 16 medals including 06 gold, 08 silver and 02 bronze in individual, team boys and girls competition of sub junior kayaking and canoeing events in 500 m. (Boys and Girls category) – 500 m of sub junior boys and girls category. In the K-4 event of the same event, Radhika Dangi, Niharika Singh, Mahi Rawat won 01 bronze medal in the girl’s category, and in the same event; Abhishek Arya won the bronze medal in the K-2 boy’s category.
