Bhopal: A minor child who was abducted was safely rescued within 12 hours and handed over to the family members. Details of the incident – On Sunday evening, the complainant came to the police station and informed that his brother, aged 15 years, had gone from home to Devmata Hospital to play but has not returned. On information case under Section 363 IPC was registered and taken into investigation.
Under Operation Muskaan for the recovery of the kidnapped child, a team was formed under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Ayodhya Nagar Mahesh Lilhare under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-02 Shraddha Tiwari and Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-02 Mahavir Singh Mujalde and Assistant Police Commissioner Akshay Chaudhary. Within 12 hours of receiving the information, the kidnapped child was found near Arjun Nagar slum and handed over safely to his family members.
