Bhopal: In order to promote sales in the automobile sector, the Cabinet decided to give a 50% discount on the rate of motor vehicle tax under the rules on the sale of motorcycles, motor cars and light vehicles. This decision will facilitate trade, tourism and industrial activities in the Gwalior Trade Fair.
It is noteworthy that Gwalior Trade Fair is one of the largest and famous trade fairs of Madhya Pradesh. This fair has gained national and international repute. Lakhs of people from Gwalior Chambal region and surrounding states visit Gwalior Trade Fair.
Permission for irrigation projects worth Rs 32 thousand crores
The Cabinet has given permission for the construction of irrigation projects worth Rs 32 thousand crores with a view to maximise irrigation facilities and to increase the area under irrigation.
The Cabinet approved new road construction works worth Rs 4 thousand 500 crore. This is a major step towards infrastructure development.
