Islamabad, Oct. 28 (UNI) Four terrorists were killed in two military operations in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said on Sunday in a statement that personnel of security forces engaged with terrorists in two separate locations in the province.
The ISPR said that the first engagement occurred in North Waziristan district of the province, and after intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed.
In another operation, two terrorists were killed, and three others were injured in the Khyber district of the province.
The ISPR said that the killed terrorists had been actively involved in terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies as well as innocent civilians in the area.
A huge cache of weapons and ammunition were also recovered during the operations.
