Islamabad, Apr 10 (UNI) Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Tuesday.
The security forces conducted the operation in the South Waziristan district of the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement.
“During the conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange, two terrorists were successfully neutralized,” the ISPR said, adding that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities in the area.
The ISPR statement said that a huge cache of weapons and explosives was also recovered during the operation.
