- Municipal corporation will run strict campaign after Diwali

If you have bought a plot in the capital and have abandoned it, then the Municipal Corporation will impose a heavy fine on you, along with this the plot owner will also have to clean the dirt and sewage water lying on the plot.
The Municipal Corporation has now come into action mode. Commissioner Harendra Narayan has decided to take major action against the land owners of vacant plots after Diwali. The corporation has decided to run it as a campaign. Commissioner Narayan said in a conversation with Navbharat/ Central Chronicle that now if water or dirt is seen on the vacant plot, a fine will be imposed directly. We started this action on an experimental basis in the last two months, in which 100 people have been fined so far.
Most of these plot owners have removed the dirt, heaps of garbage and sewage water lying on the plot. He admitted that the most dirt is being found in the old Bhopal city.
He admitted that a large number of plots are lying vacant in the city, on which the people living nearby dump garbage. The corporation is taking action to stop this, but the citizens will also have to be aware. We have started action to stop this.
1.70 lakh plots are lying vacant
There are more than 1 lakh 70 thousand such plots and land plots in Bhopal, which are lying vacant for years. There is garbage on them throughout the year. Water accumulates even during rains. The people living nearby release sewage water on these vacant plots. This breeds mosquitoes. The Municipal Corporation is preparing a list of such plots by conducting a survey. The corporation will also clean them, the cost of which will be recovered from the plot owner.
