Youth held with 5kilos of ganja, accused runs MP online kiosk

Bhopal: The Crime Branch of the police has arrested a youth from Chhola Mandir area of the capital and recovered five kilos of ganja from him. The police took this action on the information of the informer. The accused youth runs MP online kiosk. However, no old criminal record of his has been found. The police registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and arrested him. The police presented him in the court, from where he was sent to jail. The value of the seized ganja is said to be around Rs 1 lakh.

According to the information received from the Crime Branch, information was received from the informer on Friday evening that a young man was standing with a bag near the Sulabh Complex near Bhanpur Bridge in Chhola Mandir area. He may have some drugs. After verifying the information, the police team was sent to the spot.

When the police reached there, they saw a young man of the description described by the informer standing with a bag in his hand. The police team surrounded him and caught him and searched the bag he was carrying. Five kilos of ganja kept in white foil was recovered from it. The accused was identified as Mukesh Kumar Surya, 36, resident of Krishna Colony, Station Bajaria. He is a graduate in commerce and runs a kiosk of MP Online.
