Bhopal: I will take initiative to build a dedicated hospital for the treatment of mouth cancer in Bhopal. This has been said by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur. Mrs. Gaur was addressing the inaugural session of the one-day workshop of the Indian Dental Association Bhopal Branch on Sunday.
Mrs. Gaur also talked about including dental treatment in health insurance. It was told in the workshop of the association that dental treatment is not included in health insurance, it should be included. Along with this, information was given that every eighth patient in case of mouth cancer is from Bhopal. Therefore, a dedicated hospital for mouth cancer should be started in Bhopal. Indian Dental Association President Dr. Sukhda Singh, Secretary Dr. Saurabh Dantere, Treasurer Dr. Vedant Gupta, Guest Lecturer Dr. Varsha Rao and dentists were present in the workshop.
