- Alok Sharma says on becoming MP for the first time
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
Alok Sharma, the BJP candidate who won by around 5.50 lakh votes from Bhopal parliamentary seat, has talked about giving many development gifts to the region.
He said that my victory includes God’s grace, blessings of senior party officials including PM Narendra Modi and dedication of ground level workers. I am grateful to all of them, due to which I won with a huge number of votes. Now I will bring many development gifts for the region from Delhi.
Sharma said that my priorities include building a park on Union Carbide land, international airport in Sehore and startup hub in BHEL.
Apart from this, the Samadhi of Rishi Patanjali, the father of Yoga in Gondarmau, Bhopal, has to be given a new identity across the world. I wish that PM Narendra Modi and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev come here.
Will make a roadmap for development
MP Sharma said that old Bhopal has been my birthplace. Therefore, we will make a road map for the development of the region including both the cities. We have seen the scene of the Bhopal gas tragedy of 1984. Whatever little methane is left in Union Carbide, we will dispose of it scientifically. After this, we will make a huge beautiful park here, so that people of the new and old city come here for entertainment. Similarly, we will build an international airport on the land of the closed sugar mill of about 4.5 thousand acres in Sehore. Whatever dispute is going on in the court, it will be resolved. I have prepared a development model by connecting Secunderabad and Hyderabad, I will implement that model on the land of Bhopal. Along with making an action plan for the conservation of Bada Talab, Chhota Talab, Lendiya Talab, Nawab Siddiq Hasan Talab, we will work on the Green and Clean Bhopal model.
