Voters will get buttermilk, sherbet at polling stations

  • There will be cooler for cool air, arrangements for medicines

Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that the third phase of voting will be held in the state on May 7. The Commission has also completed preparations for this. Special arrangements are also being made at the polling centers so that the voters who reach the polling centers do not have to face any trouble in the heat. Keeping in mind the heat in the districts, other arrangements are being made at the polling stations including Jaljeera, mango panna, buttermilk, sherbet, cold water for drinking, awnings, seating arrangements, medicines. Along with this, arrangements have also been made to ensure that disabled and elderly voters do not have to stand in queues and can vote immediately.

Chief Electoral Officer Rajan said that the third phase of voting will be held in the state on May 7 in 9 Lok Sabha constituencies. This includes Bhopal, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Rajgarh and Betul Lok Sabha constituencies.

On Monday i.e. 6th May, the polling teams left for all 20 thousand 456 polling stations for the third phase of voting on 7th May. Shade, cold water, medicines, seating arrangements and all other facilities have also been made available to the officers and employees involved in the polling parties at the polling material distribution site.

Vote with enthusiasm

CEO Rajan has appealed to the voters of all the 9 parliamentary constituencies of the state to vote with enthusiasm for the voting to be held on 7th May. He has said that extensive arrangements have been made to ensure that the voters coming to the polling stations do not face any kind of problem in the heat.
