Bhopal: Forest and Environment Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan has appealed to the people of the state to use cow dung logs instead of wood in Holika Dahan. Chauhan said that Holi festival has special significance in Indian culture. All sections of the society celebrate Holi festival together with joy. He said that wood is used in Holika Dahan. Minister of State for Forest and Environment Dilip Ahirwar has appealed to the people of the state on the occasion of Holi that using cow-dung instead of wood in Holika Dahan is more appropriate for the environment.
