Ballia (UP), Feb 20 (UNI) Four people, including two youths, were killed when a motorcycle collided head on with a tractor in the Nagra area of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the incident took place late on Monday night when Shailendra Rajbhar (25), a resident of Khanwa village, along with Bunty Rajbhar (26) were returning after attending a marriage function on a motorcycle.
“Near Tilkari, the motorcycle collided with the tractor,” they said.
Police sources said that Shailendra, Bunty, and Shivdaras (52), who were travelling on the tractor, were killed on the spot.
“Nakshatra (55), who was seriously injured in the incident, was taken to the district hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment,” they said.
Police sources said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem examination.
