Triumph of truth, democracy: AAP hails Kejriwal’s interim bail

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Minister Atishi on Friday asserted that the bail granted to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Supreme Court denotes the victory of truth and democracy.

Addressing the media after the Supreme Court granted interim bail to AAP National Convenor Kejriwal till June 1, Atishi said, “The Supreme Court’s decision has not only granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal but has also resulted in the victory of truth, Constitution and democracy.”

Thanking the Supreme Court for protecting the Constitution and democracy, the AAP leader said, “Now dictatorship will end and that will happen only in this 2024 election.”

She further appealed to the people to overthrow the dictatorial regime with the power of their vote to save the Constitution and democracy.

The party’s senior leader Gopal Rai said, “Today the Supreme Court has lit a ray of hope in the hearts of people who love the country and democracy. Today the entire country including Delhi is happy.”

“SC has made it clear that the country whose constitution was made with the sacrifice of lakhs of martyrs, no one can end it just like that,” Rai said.

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj called it a blessing of Bajrang Bali. He said, “Kejriwal is coming out for a big purpose. Big changes will be seen in the country soon”.
