Those known for injustice are pretending to prove it : Smriti Irani

Amethi (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 28 (UNI) Union Minister Smriti Irani on Thursday took a jibe at Congress’s Nyay Yatra and said that those who are known for doing injustice were today pretending to prove it.

Talking to reporters on her two-day visit to her parliamentary constituency Amethi, Irani while referring to Nyay Yatra to be taken out by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that those who are known for doing injustice are pretending to prove justice today.

She said, “I would specially like to express my gratitude to the central government. With their courtesy, the government has benefited our disabled brothers, sisters and elderly by organising a camp today.”

The Union Minister said that under the Ayushman Card Scheme, 10 crore families were being provided treatment worth Rs 5 lakh annually. She said that through Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra, medicines are made available to the people at 70 to 80 percent lower prices than the market.

Irani said, I have requested the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in Amethi constituency to organise a medical camp for the disabled people in which representatives of Jan Aushadhi Kendra will be present so that the disabled people not only get medical support and help but also get relief through medicines.
