Hyderabad, Dec 30 (UNI) Serious over the sale of applications which are being submitted to avail the benefits of government schemes during Praja Palana programme, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday warned stringent action against the sale of applications in Praja Palana.
Revanth, who reviewed on the submission of applications in Praja Palana and the ground reality with Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other top officials, instructed officials to make available as many applications as required to the applicants .
The chief Minister clarified that all the old beneficiaries of Rythu Bandhu and Pension schemes need not to worry and the new beneficiaries will have to apply to avail the benefits.
People should not get confused in this matter, he said .
In the wake of the commencement of the Praja Palana which has been launched on December 28 in the state, the chief minister enquired the officials about the details of the Gram Sabhas held so far, details of applications and the process of accepting the applications in Praja Palana.
The CM also instructed the officials not to create difficulty to the applicants in submitting applications.
District Collectors have been asked to take stringent action against those who sell applications, the CM suggested that public representatives should participate in Praja Palana programme.
The officials have also been asked to provide drinking water supply and erect tents for people who attend the Praja Palana to submit applications, the CM added.
