- Wife claims husband died due to dog bite, body remained lying for several hours
Bhopal: An incident that shames humanity has come to light in Bhopal. A youth died under suspicious circumstances. The wife claimed that her husband died due to dog bite. For several hours, the woman sat near her husband’s body with her innocent children.
On the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, Koh-e-Fiza police kept the body in the mortuary of Hamidia Hospital. The incident took place under the Singarcholi Bridge. Many labourer families live here in slums. At the same time, the police say that the reasons for the young man’s death will be revealed in the PM report.
The police said that Bablu Rana, 32, son of Kishori Rana, was originally from Sagar. He came to Bhopal a year ago with his wife and children. During preliminary interrogation, the wife told the police that a dog had bitten her husband recently.
Since then his health had started deteriorating. He had started making strange noises. On Saturday night foam started coming out of his mouth. He died within a short time. Police say that the detailed statement of his wife will be recorded on Sunday.
