- Family said – contractor made him climb without safety equipment
Bhopal: A laborer died after falling from a building under construction in Ayodhya Nagar area. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon around 12.30 pm, when he was working on a two-storey building without any safety equipment. The family accused the contractors of negligence and demanded action from the police.
The deceased’s brother Mohammad Javed said that Raju Mansuri was working at a construction site in Vrindavan. Contractors Jahangir Ansari and Ali Ansari made him climb two floors without any safety equipment, from where he fell.
After the incident, his body was left at home at around 3 pm. Javed alleged that the police is not taking any concrete action on his complaint and he is being made to run from Ayodhya police station to Piplani police station and hospitals.
Javed was preparing to go to Dubai for a job
Javed told that he had got a job in Dubai and he was going to leave for there on May 26, but this incident shocked the whole family. He demanded that strict action be taken against the contractors and compensation be given to the family of the deceased.
According to the police, the cause of death will be clear after the postmortem report. The body has been handed over to the family after investigation. However, the family alleges that this accident happened due to the negligence of the contractors and they are demanding justice. At the same time, the police say that the matter is being investigated. It will be possible to say something only after the investigation.
