The number of tourists in the Bhojpal fair organized at Dussehra ground is increasing day by day. More than 70 thousand people enjoyed the fair in the first three days of the New Year. However, even on Thursday, there was bitter cold throughout the day and cold waves and some rain in the evening could not dampen the enthusiasm of the people.

The specialty of the fair is keeping an eye on the security and law and order of the large number of visitors coming in.

For this, the fair committee has also created a control room. In which the entire system is being monitored through 100 CCTV cameras in the entire campus including the outside parking. By making continuous announcements through about 50 loudspeakers, children or people missing in the fair are being reunited with their families. Bhojpal Mahotsav Committee, which has been running at BHEL Dussehra ground for the last one month, has extended the period of Mahotsav till January 14 on the demand of traders and spectators. Earlier this fair was to conclude on January 7. Chairman of the committee Sunil Yadav said that this decision has been taken on the demand of the shopkeepers who came to the fair, swing operators, fish aquarium and operators who set up the setup from Moon to Chandrayaan. This will give the city residents a chance to roam around, shop and have entertainment for one more week. The attraction of the fair is the swings and food stalls, which are enjoyed the most by people with children. Every day a large number of people are reaching the fish house setup near the entrance of the fair with their children.
