State President VD Sharma meets Union Minister Gadkari

  • Urged to construct Panna-Mandla elevated road

Bharatiya Janata Party State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Wednesday. During this, he submitted a letter requesting for the construction of a 22 km long elevated road between Panna and Mandla on National Highway No. 39 under Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency.

In order to facilitate the movement of heavy vehicles and traffic in Panna Nagar, State President Sharma has proposed and requested to construct a ring road around the city connecting Chhatarpur Marg, Ajaygarh Marg, Satna-Rewa Marg and Katni-Jabalpur Marg and again up to Chhatarpur Marg. He proposed Bisani-Shyamgiri-Kalda Saleha via Mainha road in Powai assembly, Amanganj-Gunaur-Suvansha-Girwara-Simri road and Devendra Nagar-Saleha road in Gunaur assembly, as well as Bamitha-Satna greenfield four lane proposed national highway as bypass route from Devendra Nagar.

On this occasion, former state government minister and MLA Brijendra Pratap Singh was also present.
