Social media influencers to help in boosting voting percentage

Bhopal: Voter awareness campaign will be conducted in Indore district with the motto ‘Festival of Elections – Pride of the Country’. In this, programs will be organized to make voters aware and increase the voting percentage.

This time a five percent increase in voting has been planned in the district. For this, cooperation of social media influencers will also be taken. At the same time, participation of all sections of the society will be decided. Polling station wise volunteers will also be appointed.

A meeting regarding the election awareness campaign was organized by Collector and District Election Officer Ashish Singh in the Collector’s office on Friday. For this, Divyank Singh, CEO of Smart City in Indore city and Siddharth Jain, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat for rural areas, have been made nodal officers.

It was decided in the meeting that voting should be increased by at least 5 percent. For this, Collector Ashish Singh directed to take extensive cooperation from social media influencers, NGOs, social, business and industrial organizations etc. Volunteers at polling stations where there will be an increase of 5 percent will be honored with certificates.

Smart City Mission should work to increase voting percentage

Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh reached the Smart City office on Saturday and held a meeting of the officials. He directed the officials to work with full force to increase the voting percentage during the Lok Sabha elections in the Smart City Mission city. He instructed to prepare a calendar for voter awareness activities. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, Smart City Chief Executive Officer Divyank Singh and other officials were present in the meeting.
