New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday ordered suspension of the concerned teachers and vice principal who failed to report alleged sexual assault in government school to the police after one of the children informed them about it.
As per letter, Delhi Education Minister Atishi wrote to the Directorate of Education to ensure rigorous training of all the principals, and teachers on provisions of POCSO to avoid such incidents in future.
In her letter, Atishi assured the Delhi government’s unwavering commitment to a safe and secure environment in the schools for the holistic development of the students.
