Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday edged up 441.65 points to 66,521.02 as buying was seen across the board.
Especially utilities, power, and real estate stocks rose more than one percent.
The NSE rose 124.60 points to 19,814.45.
The midcap gained 1.03 pc and the smallcap gained 1.11 pc.
In 30 scrips, 29 advanced while 1 declined.
Infosys rose 1.33 percent to Rs 1514.95, Ultracemco rose 1.32 percent to Rs 8264, NTPC rose 1.14 percent to Rs 238.60, Wipro rose 1.02 percent to Rs 411.75, and ICICI Bank rose 0.97 percent to Rs 960.15 were among the gainers.
