Continuous fog as well as rain is being seen in many areas of Madhya Pradesh. Rain was recorded at some places in the districts of Bhopal, Indore, Narmadapuram and Ujjain divisions.
Minimum efficiency due to fog in the morning is 50 meters at Jabalpur Airport, Mandla, Sagar, Satna and Raisen, 100 meters at Khajuraho Airport, 200 meters at Bhopal Airport and Gwalior, 500 meters at Damoh Rewa, Tikamgarh, Umaria and Indore and 500 meters was recorded at the Indore airport.
Here, the day remained sunny in the capital Bhopal after a long time. A drop in minimum temperature was recorded at some places in the districts of Rewa and Shahdol divisions. Further, the Meteorological Department has predicted a drop of two to three degrees in the minimum temperature. Due to this, the cold weather in the state will become more severe. In view of the cold wave in MP, the School Education Department has changed the operating timings of schools. Deputy Secretary of School Education Department, Pramod Singh has issued this order.
The order to change school timings will continue till January 20. According to the order, MP government and private schools which are operating early in the morning will operate from 10:00 am. At the same time, government and non-government schools operating in two shifts will also open from 10:00 am.
The predetermined examinations for classes 6 to 12 will be conducted in the prescribed time table. This order has been issued to all District Collectors and District Education Officers.
Annual examinations of class 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th from 27th February
The annual examinations for classes 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th in government schools of Madhya Pradesh will be held from 27th February. These examinations will be conducted till March 4. The examinations of both classes will be held from 2 to 4:30 pm. The State Education Center has issued guidelines for this. It is written in the order that if Urdu or Marathi is selected as the first language, it will be mandatory to select English as the second language and Hindi as the additional language. Whereas if English is selected as the first language, it will be mandatory to select Hindi as the second language. There will be no annual examination for the first and second classes. In these, children will be evaluated through exercise booklets. There will be no evaluation of any kind for the children of classes from Nursery to KG-2.
