Moscow, (UNI) A plane belonging to Russia’s Ural Airlines heading from southern Uzbekistan to Moscow made an unplanned landing in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg on Wednesday due to the activation of a hydraulic system malfunction sensor.
“On board the aircraft flying Flight U6-2128 on the route Karshi [Uzbekistan]—Moscow, a malfunction sensor of one of the hydraulic systems was triggered. To ensure safe flight, the aircraft commander decided to proceed to an alternate airfield at Koltsovo [International Airport in Yekaterinburg],” the airline’s statement read.
The landing went smoothly, the airline added.
