Ramdev Baba’s procession taken out with devotion

Bhopal: On Sunday, on the Jayanti of Baba Ramdev, a grand procession was taken out by the Jeenagar community under the leadership of senior members of the Jeenagar community. Before the procession, a prayer was made to Lord Baba Ramdev Ji for the progress of the country and the state. The procession started from Ramdev Temple Gautam Nagar PGBT College and reached Lakherapura Ramdev Temple via Bhopal Talkies, Bus Stand, Janakpuri, Chowk Bazaar.

The main attractions in the procession were the palanquin of Baba Ramdev’s child form, excellent tableaux, huge flags, Samudhar Band, chariot, horses, dancing mare, Shehnai, DJ and little girls doing Dandiya in Rajasthani costumes, mother power and devotees riding on the huge chariot of Baba. They were singing praises and dancing in front of him.

Committee spokesperson Bhagwandas Dhalia said that the procession was welcomed by former mayor Alok Sharma, zone president councilor Devendra Bhargava, Shailesh Sahu, Saroj Hariom Aseri, and at various places the business community and Jeenagar Yuva Manch performed aarti of Baba Ji and showered flowers on the procession. A large number of dignitaries including Jeenagar Samaj President Ajay Pawar, committee’s Pawan Chauhan, Murali Dabi, Rajesh Aseri, Govardhan Parihar, Prem Pawar, Devendra Chauhan, Sunil Songara were present in the procession. In the evening, a bhajan evening was also held at Ramdev Temple Gautam Nagar.
