Raksha Ramaiah elected as Karnataka Table Tennis Association President

Bengaluru, (UNI) Youth Congress National General Secretary Raksha Ramaiah has been unanimously elected as the president of Karnataka Table Tennis Association.

Hitherto, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi was the president of the association.

Ramaiah was unanimously elected at Dharwad on Sunday, and he will hold the office for the next six years.

Expressing happiness over his victory, he said table tennis is an important sport and helps a comprehensive growth of the youths.

It is supplementary for mental and physical health, Ramaiah said. “Table tennis is one of the games that enhances concentration, and I will strive to take the sports to the next level by encouraging youth,” he said.
