Punjab: More than 100 vehicles collide due to low visibility

Ludhiana, Nov 13 (UNI) A major accident occurred on the Khanna-Amritsar National Highway due to low visibility caused by fog early Monday morning.

According to witnesses, around 100 vehicles were damaged, one person died, and many others were injured.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on Twitter Monday morning that due to thick fog, there was a big accident near Samrala where many vehicles collided with each other. There is news of many people getting injured. I have asked the administration to immediately help the injured, and I am in constant contact with the administration.

I also appeal to people to drive with caution in the coming days.
