Hyderabad, Dec 23 (UNI) President Droupadi Murmu left for Delhi after concluding her five-day visit to the southern region here on Saturday.
She received a warm send-off at the Hakimpetl Airport here, with Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Ministers, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, DGP Ravi Guptha, and others in attendance.
During her visit, President Murmu graced the centenary celebrations of the Hyderabad Public School Society on December 19.
She visited the handloom and spinning unit, as well as the theme pavilion of the Ministry of Textiles at Pochampally in Telangana, on December 20, interacting with weavers on the occasion.
On the same day, she attended the golden jubilee celebrations of MNR Educational Trust in Secunderabad.
On December 21, President Murmu inaugurated various projects at Rashtrapati Nilayam.
She hosted an ‘At Home’ reception at Rashtrapati Nilayam for dignitaries, including leading citizens of the state and academics, on Friday evening.
