Policemen will get 15 liters of petrol

Implementation has started on the announcements made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the Police Parivar Samagam held at the Chief Minister’s residence premises on July 28. The state government has issued an order regarding the allowance for the food, uniform and petrol etc. of the policemen.

The order would be considered effective from August 15, Independence Day. According to the order issued, employees from constable to sub-inspector level posted in police stations have been approved to reimburse the cost of 15 liters of petrol every month for the travelling done for official work. Similarly, Approval has also been given to increase the amount of nutritious food allowance approved earlier from Rs.650 to Rs.1000 per month for non-gazetted employees of MP police constable to inspector level and by increasing the amount of uniform allowance to constable and head constable from Rs.2500 and Rs.3000 per year to Rs. 5000 per year.

Amount of uniform renewal grant Rs 2500

Along with this, approval has also been given to increase the amount of uniform renewal grant from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2500 given every 3 years to the officers of Madhya Pradesh Police from Assistant Sub-Inspector to Inspector level. The rate of free food given to the policemen posted in law and order has been increased from Rs.70 per day to Rs.100 per day. Apart from this, non-gazetted officers of Madhya Pradesh Special Armed Forces (SAF) have been approved Special Armed Forces Allowance of Rs 1000 per month.
