PM Suraj Portal helpful for deprived class: CM

  • PM launches PM-Suraj portal; money of govt schemes will come directly into accounts of the poor

The money from the schemes of the Government of India and other schemes will reach directly into the accounts of the poor. Now there will be no middleman, no commission taker and no poor person will need to run around for recommendations. Financial assistance will be provided to people in the deprived community through PM-Suraj portal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Social Upliftment and Employment-based Public Welfare (PM-SURJ) portal.

PM Modi said that in earlier years the importance of the deprived classes was not understood and people from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes were marginalized. In the last 10 years, respect has also been given to the underprivileged. Gas stove has been provided under Ayushman Card, Ujjwala Scheme. The work of development of Panch Teerths associated with Dr. Ambedkar has been done.

PM Modi said that sewer and septic tank workers are being given PPE kits today. Successful startups of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes are being given benefits under the Venture Capital Fund Scheme/Ambedkar Social Innovation Incubation Mission.

CM participated in program online

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in this program online from Dhar. He said that Prime Minister Modi deserves congratulations. They also pay attention to minute details from the point of view of public welfare. He has taken important steps in the interest of the sanitation workers who keep the entire population clean and healthy. They have also been provided Ayushman card. The government is trying to ensure that cleaning workers in urban bodies get both security and respect. The new portal will provide integrated support to the schemes run for the dignity, employment and welfare of the weaker sections. Loan cases will be approved within a day.

CM said that when Modi ji took the pledge of cleanliness, the picture of the entire country changed. Important work is being done for the respect of the tribal class in the country. A new university is being started in Khargone in the name of Tantya Mama. Dr. Yadav said that there were brave fighters in Dhar district also. CM Dr. Yadav provided benefits to the beneficiaries in various schemes.

Initially, Prime Minister Modi interacted with some beneficiaries from different places of the country. First of all he communicated with Narendra Sen of Indore. Indore MP Shankar Lalwani and many public representatives were present on this occasion.

In another programme, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Sagar, the city of Dr. Harisingh Gaur, has led the country in the field of education. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the function organized for the digital launch of the university at PTC Ground in Sagar. The CM inaugurated Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi University by pressing the button of the remote. Dr. Yadav said that this university will start from this session. A building will also be built for the university.

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the land of Madhya Pradesh is the main center of the country in the education sector. Lord Krishna took education in Sandipani Ashram Ujjain, while educationist Dr. Harisingh Gaur lit the torch of education on the land of Bundelkhand. He said that I am of the opinion that Dr. Harisingh Gaur should get Bharat Ratna. Sagar is the only district among the 55 districts of the state, which has two universities.

Ayurveda Medical College will open in Sagar

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on January 20, he had announced the opening of Ayurveda Medical College in Sagar. He announced Ayurveda College in the name of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. He said that this would be a true tribute to Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. Dr. Yadav announced the construction of the road in the name of Sant Ravidas.

CM sanctioned Rs 5 lakh for the kidney transplant of Mohit Rajput, a child of Sironja village. He said that the government will not let anyone suffer. He instructed to send a proposal to Collector Deepak Arya for financial assistance for the treatment of another cancer victim, 13-year-old Omprakash Kakshi.
