PM flags off Khajuraho-New Delhi Vande Bhartat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the commitment for Viksit Bharat during the foundation laying and dedication ceremony of over 6,000 modern railway projects in Ahmedabad. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav actively engaged in the event from Bhopal Railway Station. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma and Mayor Smt. Malti Rai were also present in the programme.

Prime Minister Shri Modi emphasized that Indian Railways is promoting tourism rooted in regional culture and faith, following the motto of “Virasat Bhi Aur Vikas Bhi” (Heritage and Development).

CM expresses gratitude to PM

PM Modi flagged off Khajuraho-New Delhi Vande Bharat train. Dr. Yadav expressed gratitude to PM Modi for the train as well as for Nishatpura-Sant Hirdaram Nagar Rail Section Development under Ramganjmandi-Bhopal New Rail Line Project.

CM said the inauguration of these projects promises new avenues of development, particularly through the Khajuraho-New Delhi Vande Bharat train. The Nishatpura-Sant Hirdaram Nagar railway section, costing approximately Rs 65 crore, will significantly enhance rail connectivity in Western Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, Rani Kamlapati Railway Station’s transformation into the nation’s premier station, showcasing exemplary infrastructure development through private participation, stands as a testament to this progress.

PM hiked State’s Railway Budget: CM

Dr. Mohan Yadav said prior to 2014, Madhya Pradesh’s railway budget stood at approximately Rs 275 crore, which has now surged to Rs 15,000 crore.

State benefited from 202 electronic inter-locking, 57 one station one product outlets, doubling of 13 lines and electrification of three railway sections.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav commended Prime Minister Shri Modi for inaugurating numerous projects, including approximately 202 electronic interlockings, 57 One Station One Product outlets, around 66 solar plants, and four Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Centre. Additionally, 13 railway lines in the state have been doubled, and the foundation stone for a new coaching complex, worth approximately Rs 100 crore, has been laid in Bhopal.
