New Delhi, (UNI) DLF Malls and The Pokémon Company have partnered to host the first-ever Pokémon Mela in Delhi NCR over three weekends in November and December.
The event will feature dance performances, parades by Pikachu, interactive activities, and exclusive Pokémon goodies for fans.
The event will take place at DLF Mall of India, Noida, followed by DLF Avenue, Saket, and DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions at each venue, including dance performances, parades by Pikachu, quiz contests, animation videos, and coloring for kids.
Social media enthusiasts can also participate in a post-and-win campaign to win Pokémon plush toys. Pokémon GO fans can enjoy special Pokéstops in the Pokémon GO app.
Pushpa Bector, Senior Executive Director and head of DLF’s retail division, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating that it promises to bring joy and excitement to patrons.
Susumu Fukunaga, Corporate Officer at The Pokémon Company, expressed his excitement for the event and its potential to create meaningful interactions with existing Pokémon fans and connect with new ones.
The Pokémon Mela marks the beginning of a series of initiatives planned by The Pokémon Company to enhance the presence of Pokémon in India and create opportunities for people to interact with Pokémon in real life.
